The title of the movie that SUPERSTAR RAJNIKANTH would be doing before Shankar’s Robot has been decided. The film has now been christened KUSELAN.

This proposed Title reminds us of the Mythological story which portrays the Friendship between The LORD KRISHNA and KUSELA.
The film is about the friendship between a village barber and his friend, A MOVIE STAR who comes to that village for shooting. Hence the title Kuselan. Rajinikanth plays the movie star while Pasupathi is to play the role of the barber.
This movie will be a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Katha Parayumbol’, which was Mamootty’s Christmas offer in 2007, with Mammooty and Sreenivasan playing the lead roles. Rajinikanth, who watched a special show of the movie in Chennai, was deeply inspired by it.
Director P.Vasu and SuperStar Rajnikanth joined hands again after the blockbuster movie Chandramukhi, which was also a remake of a Malayalam movie Manichitrathal. Furthermore, The ace director K.Balachanders’ Kavithalaya Productions will be producing the film. The shooting is expected to start by February and the movie is to be released after summer. Hope it’s a blockbuster too!
