AMD AND NVIDIA BRING OUT NEW GRAPHIC CARDS

AMD:THE HYBRID CROSSFIRE

AMD is all set out to release their new budget card “THE HYBRID CROSS FIRE”.THE all new budget AMD graphics card will be able to share processing tasks with the graphics chips built into forthcoming AMD-based motherboards.

AMD recently demonstrated that their two low-end chips worked together make even new 3D games playable. Hybrid Crossfire rigged some of most graphically demanding games games like Crysis, Unreal tournament 3 and call of duty. Their performance was impressive and scored better than many of the low end graphics cards in the market. With just a budget Radeon card by itself. Nvidia is rumored to be working on its own version budget cards. I think this will be preferred by Indian gamers

Nvidia:3-way SLI

This is actually a lower end version of quad-SLI technology that Nvidia introduced in 2006, which means there will be no support for DirectX 10 graphics. 3-Way SLI only works with Nvidia's GEFORCE 8800 GTX and 8800 Ultra graphics cards; this means 3-way SLI has been designed for those gamers who already have very high-end systems. If The performance of 3-way SLI tests has been very convincing and has shown significant gains over their traditional two card setups. There’s no wait for 3-way. Just a 3way connector is needed but these connectors will work only on any Nvidia 680i SLI motherboard that has three PCI Express x16 slots.
