POLLOCK HEROICS PROPEL PROTEAS 5-0 SERIES WIN


South Africa beat WestIndies by a Huge margin of 8 wickets(D/L Method) to clinch the series 5-0. Veteran Paceman SHAUN POLLOCK got a dream Farewell as his fellow team-mate H.Gibbs blasted a quick fire century( 102 off 84 deliveries) and Kallis made an unbeaten 74. Pollock shared the honors of the match by scoring the Winning Runs for S.AFRICA in his Farewell match. He shared the MAN OF THE SERIES award along with his Team-Mate DUMINY.

Pollock currently has 3519 runs and 393 wickets from 303 ODIs, making him only the second player after Wasim Akram to complete the double of 3500 runs and 350 wickets in the limited-over version. He's one of the four players with over 2500 runs and 250 wickets in ODIs.


He has further established the Pollocks as the first family of South African cricket, the Legacy that had been started by his Father Peter Pollock and Uncle Greame Pollock.
