INTEL UNVEILS THE NEW ATOM PROCESSORS


Intel’s new atom processor has been unveiled five (Z520, Z530, Z540, Z500, Z510) new processors have been fabricated to reduce the power consumption by more than 50 percent. The 3 mm processor draws power between 0.65 to 2.4 watt and is available within the speed range between 800MhZ to 1.6 GHZ. All Atom chips are equipped with 512K of L2 cache memory and this product would be used even in low budget laptops called nettops (Toshiba, Gigabyte motherboards are expected to has this chip incorporated)
