MUTTAIAH MURALITHARAN TO WAIT FOR ONE MORE GAME

The ace SriLankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has to wait for one more game in order to become the highest wicket taker in the One-Day International matches in Cricket. Murali is One wicket short in equalling the world record of 502 ODI Wickets with Wasim Akram and one more to create a new one. It was highly expected that Murali would break the record for the maximum number of wickets in the 2nd ODI at Premadasa vs India but went wicketless and SriLanka lost the match by 16 runs to India. Murali is expected to break Akram's record on February 3-2009 as SriLanka once again plays vs India at the Premadasa Cricket stadium in Colombo.
